All sessions would be attended via zoom. There will be handouts and a how-to-prepare for the workshop provided so you can set yourself up for a valuable and fun at-home experience.

Friday September 11th

Theory class: yoga as medicine

Introduction and retreat opening

Saturday September 12th

Sadhana class (breathing practices and meditation)

Asana class: yoga for pacifying pita

Theory class: introduction to Ayurveda

Questionnaire to determine your own 'doshas" or Prakriti

Asana class: yoga pacifying vata

Daily routine discussionĀ Self-oilation (ahyanga) session*

Sunday September 13th

Sadhana class (breathing practices and meditation)

Asana class: yoga for pacifying kapha

Review, question & answer session and closing

 

*Learn the benefits of self Ayurveda massage with oil through theory taught during practical application. Those wanting to participate in the practical session are encouraged to bring a bathing suit, tank top and shorts or whatever is comfortable for applying oil in a group setting. To further reap the benefits of the oil application we will head to the sauna following (weather dependent).
